After having played for 35 minutes, Anier Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ben Hur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Gora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 minutes, Americo Dalmai made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atletico San Lorenzo's Fabricio Cristos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ben Hur's attentive Venancio Valiente managed to snatch the ball when Ceferino Miliano made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Fabricio Cristos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Americo Dalmai's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Erroman to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Americo Dalmai in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabricio Cristos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Club Atletico San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Roque Lano hit a great ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Americo Dalmai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico San Lorenzo's Fabricio Cristos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anier Gora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Cristos came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Ben Hur's Americo Dalmai. But to his dismay, Americo Dalmai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Fabricio Cristos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Dalmai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Valiente charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venancio Valiente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ben Hur's Venancio Valiente got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 77 played minutes, Ben Hur's Fabio Serapio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabricio Cristos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ben Hur reached it. Fabricio Cristos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Americo Dalmai's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. If Venancio Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Club Atletico San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Dalmai came free, but Fabricio Cristos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Americo Dalmai sped through Club Atletico San Lorenzo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabricio Cristos.
