Cecilio Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Eguerdi in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 39th minute Leonardo Quentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Maximo Elazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anier Gora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Mannuel having to interfere. Fermin Mannuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Gora, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arnoldo Eguerdi made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes pasión paternal fc got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Heriberto. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Gora couldn't finish the play. If Mateo Hegoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in pasión paternal fc's zone, Anier Gora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Mannuel came out of the goal and Anier Gora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Mannuel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Hegoi went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ben Hur's Anier Gora got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anier Gora scored 3-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermin Mannuel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Valiente in the 89th minute of play forced pasión paternal fc's goalkeeper Fermin Mannuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Gora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Mannuel having to interfere. A collision led to Ben Hur getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Mateo Hegoi hit a great ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind pasión paternal fc's goalkeeper Fermin Mannuel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 96 minutes, Anier Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ben Hur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Gora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ben Hur fully deserved thier win.
