Jaime Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Bibiano having to interfere. In the 10th minute Jaime Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Bibiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ezequiel Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Gombal hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jaime Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Bibiano having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anier Baudelio during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Jaen made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Palacios FC's Ezequiel Jaen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Damian Bazkoare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Berart in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Jaime Isias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Damalu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Isias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Cirilo Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Bibiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Jaen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Bazkoare was relentless in the 76th minute of the game.
