Cóndor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Todor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aurelio Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Balasi in the 38th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Luisito Shepherd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogelio Baumar. Cóndor FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisito Shepherd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

The wind increased when Fernando Balasi made the kick off in the second half. Manquehue's Luisito Shepherd got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Cóndor FC's Fernando Balasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Osoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Manquehue's goalkeeper Aurelio Osoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Todor. Fernando Balasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Osoro having to interfere. Aurelio Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Balasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Balasi in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Osoro saved Manquehue from getting behind. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
