Eusebio Frans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Jaizki in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Club Altetico San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Blanco came free, but Martin Ledesma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Altetico San Lorenzo's zone, Leonardo Blanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Ledesma came out of the goal and Leonardo Blanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusebio Frans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Jaizki in the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Almafuerte FC's Enrique Oskarbi got a free kick in the 13th minute. Leonardo Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Kaxen hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Martin Ledesma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Elvio Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Nicolas Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebio Frans acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ruperto Derwin. Augusto Isias hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes Almafuerte FC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Oskarbi. In the 48th minute, Leonardo Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Harkaitz in the 48th minute of play forced Club Altetico San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Martin Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 64th match minute, Almafuerte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Faro to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Ferdinand struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Eusebio Frans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Altetico San Lorenzo. In the 78th minute, Leonardo Blanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Almafuerte FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 83rdth minute of the game Elvio Ferdinand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almafuerte FC's Eusebio Frans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Club Altetico San Lorenzo's Elvio Ferdinand made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebio Frans was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Club Altetico San Lorenzo booed when Almafuerte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Gregory didn't get a good kick on the ball.
