The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Manquehue's Alejandro Arano got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Hermengildo Abaunza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Montrel in the 9th minute of the match. Luisito Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Hermengildo Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Manquehue's goalkeeper Aurelio Osoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Gimenez. In the 20th minute, Americo Lluc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Menendo took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Osoro. Aurelio Osoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hermengildo Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Shepherd in the 27th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Zetta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Montrel came free, but Hermengildo Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Gimenez got free with Aurelio Osoro in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Hector Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Zetta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Gimenez couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 44 in the game by Hector Gimenez from a close distance when the talented Aurelio Osoro managed to make a qualified save. Manquehue's players were relieved. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Menendo made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Everardo Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zetta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Menendo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Osoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zetta FC's Everardo Menendo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Osoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Everardo Menendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Aurelio Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Everardo Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Gimenez struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Aurelio Osoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zetta FC. Marciano Beremundo's late challenge caught a Zetta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marciano Beremundo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Marciano Beremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Hector Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zetta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Gimenez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Osoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Menendo in the 88th minute of play forced Manquehue's goalkeeper Aurelio Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Gimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Osoro having to interfere. Manquehue's Aurelio Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Menendo in the 92nd minute of play. Luisito Shepherd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Abaunza having to interfere. The Manquehue fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Manquehue's Luisito Shepherd looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
