The supporters of Toninas FC booed when Club Morbi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Harms didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Leoncio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tammo Schnatterer in the 8th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Club Morbi got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Playo. Benito Leoncio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sócrates Landero in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Playo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Urki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Toninas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nerio Muños came free, but Ezequiel Urki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Leoncio made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Manny in the 18th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Sócrates Landero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Leoncio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sócrates Landero got free with Benito Leoncio in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Leoncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sócrates Landero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Silvio Horado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Morbi's Benito Leoncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tammo Schnatterer in the 40th minute of play. Toninas FC's David Manny got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sócrates Landero got free with Benito Leoncio in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eulalio Playo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sócrates Landero in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Morbi's goalkeeper Benito Leoncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Leoncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tammo Schnatterer in the 54th minute of the match. Sócrates Landero took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Leoncio. Benigno Theobald replaced Lauro Lucas. Toninas FC's Roque Abaunza was substituted for David Manny. Tadeo Maties hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
