Compadres's Segundo Koldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Mannie in the 42nd minute of play. Anselmo Txema made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Maurino in the 46th minute. Placido Eguntsenti hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
