Gervasio Matthew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Elorri having to interfere. Gervasio Matthew blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Elorri having to make a save. Rodolfo Elorri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervasio Matthew in the 26th minute. Federico Janpier's late challenge caught a D-Bigote Clasic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Janpier helped the player get up and apologised. Federico Janpier hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Gervasio Matthew came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the D-Bigote Clasic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Matthew couldn't finish the play. If Gervasio Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gervasio Matthew to make the kick off. Clodoveo Pes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rodolfo Elorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Lavanderos FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Madeo. If Arsenio Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The tension between the D-Bigote Clasic and the Lavanderos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. D-Bigote Clasic's Victorino Pio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Silviano in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, D-Bigote Clasic's Victorino Pio got control of the ball when Ulises Ovando tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute Gervasio Matthew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Elorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Ovando succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 76th playminute. Gervasio Matthew blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Elorri having to make a save. The D-Bigote Clasic manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Lavanderos FC to win.
