An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Frechoso in the 17th minute of play forced Quemquemtreu's goalkeeper Daniel Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Quemquemtreu's Santos Cugat got a free kick in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Quemquemtreu's zone, Gaspar Bero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Lartaun came out of the goal and Gaspar Bero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmiro Maureo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Fernanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Maureo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Nunez Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Trinchera AFC's Bernabe Pudes got a free kick in the 45th minute. The corner led to Quemquemtreu's Filiberto Urtungo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmiro Maureo made a kick off. After some careless play in the Trinchera AFC defense, Delmiro Maureo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Fernanco. The Trinchera AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Fernanco should have stopped the shot. Quemquemtreu's Daniel Lartaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Frechoso in the 65th minute of play. Armando Lehoi's late challenge caught a Trinchera AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Oton, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eriberto Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Faro in the 83rd minute of the match. Quemquemtreu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
