With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorino Pio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute Godfredo Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Pio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jesus Ekhi fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored D-Bigote Clasic's protests and gave Jesus Ekhi a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Eldorado a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Erasmo Rainerio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of D-Bigote Clasic's Victorino Pio. 0-1. Eldorado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave D-Bigote Clasic the free kick.
