An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Abecia in the 31st minute of play forced Delgado AFC's goalkeeper Carolo Oier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carolo Oier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Abecia, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Nereo Tolino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Mambru in the 37th minute. Nereo Tolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Afonso in the 38th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Afonso was the one to do the kick off. In the 95th minute, Arnaldo Abecia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
