The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Tabor got free with Claudio Claus in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudio Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Abecia in the 7th minute of play. Bruno Tabor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Claus having to interfere. Arnaldo Abecia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Claus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Casimiro Cisco put in a rough tackle. Claudio Claus went to the wrong direction when Damaso Blasi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Villa Urquiza FC's Nereo Tolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Mikeldi in the 25th minute of play. Aureliano Mikeldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Rozarius hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Villa Urquiza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Mikeldi came free, but Nereo Tolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Tabor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Claudio Claus made a huge save. If Amador Cresencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nereo Tolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Mikeldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Abecia to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Aureliano Mikeldi sped through Villa Urquiza FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nereo Tolino. Domingos Jerardo's late challenge caught a Villa Urquiza FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Jerardo helped the player get up and apologised. Domingos Jerardo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Abecia in the 61st minute of play forced Real Envido FC's goalkeeper Claudio Claus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Bruno Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arnaldo Abecia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Mikeldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nereo Tolino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Gilberto Frans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Urquiza FC and the Real Envido FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Armando Horado sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Villa Urquiza FC's Nereo Tolino didn't even have to move. Aureliano Mikeldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Nereo Tolino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Mikeldi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Tolino having to make a save. Amador Cresencios short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Nereo Tolino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Real Envido FC booed when Villa Urquiza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nereo Tolino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Armando Horado. With a little luck, Villa Urquiza FC's Nereo Tolino got control of the ball when Aureliano Mikeldi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Real Envido FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Envido FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
