Cecilio Cordarrol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Tabor in the 20th minute. Narciso Jaizki's late challenge caught a Villa Urquiza FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Jaizki helped the player get up and apologised. Teofilo Belmiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cecilio Cordarrol was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Herminio Tabby. After 37 played minutes, Tobosy's Martin Argider shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nereo Tolino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tobosy reached it. Nereo Tolino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Belmiro's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Nereo Tolino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Belmiro in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Tolino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Carlos Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Abecia made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Teofilo Belmiro made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Villa Urquiza FC's Nereo Tolino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Arnaldo Abecia came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Villa Urquiza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Abecia couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Jeremias Neto from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Nereo Tolino's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Teofilo Belmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Teofilo Belmiro came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Tobosy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Belmiro couldn't finish the play. Carlos Cordero might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Tolino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Cordero ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute of the match Herminio Tabby sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cecilio Cordarrol skillfully saved the ball. Nereo Tolino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Belmiro's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Tobosy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
