In the 18th minute Apolo Mambru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carolo Oier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Naelio in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Isaias Afonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Vimaro. C.F. T.E.D. 05's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Afonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 28 minutes into the game, Cecilio Peruanton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Delgado AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.F. T.E.D. 05 the free kick. In the 28th minute, Cecilio Peruanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.F. T.E.D. 05's Gaston Vimaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Mambru in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, C.F. T.E.D. 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Niguel to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Mambru struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gaston Vimaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delgado AFC. 39 minutes into the match, C.F. T.E.D. 05's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Mambru came free, but Gaston Vimaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Delgado AFC's Carolo Oier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Bertol in the 56th minute of play. Apolo Mambru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.F. T.E.D. 05's Victor Jaunti got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Mambru got free with Gaston Vimaro in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaston Vimaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Isaias Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Mambru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Gaston Vimaro made a huge save. Delgado AFC's Carolo Oier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Bertol in the 78th minute of play. T.E.D. 05 getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Vladimiro Gitano hit a great ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Isaias Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carolo Oier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Naelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delgado AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
