In the 16th minute Constantino Baraquiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Venceslas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Sanchez in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Gurutz saved Nacho Dream Team FC from getting behind. In the 21st match minute, Nacho Dream Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Nuno to maneuver through the defense. If Blas Vellito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nacho Dream Team FC's Benigno Gurutz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Nacho Dream Team FC from getting a goal against them. When Igor Sanchez came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Estudiabantes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Sanchez couldn't finish the play. Anibal Venceslas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nacho Dream Team FC's Benigno Gurutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Sanchez in the 43rd minute of play. If Blas Vellito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, Nacho Dream Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Vellito came free, but Benigno Gurutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes Nacho Dream Team FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel Aresti who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Estudiabantes's Anibal Venceslas got control of the ball when Hugo Ritchie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantino Baraquiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Venceslas having to interfere. Hugo Ritchie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Anibal Venceslas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Igor Sanchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Hugo Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacho Dream Team FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Ritchie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anibal Venceslas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Baraquiel in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Sanchez in the 85th minute of play forced Nacho Dream Team FC's goalkeeper Benigno Gurutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Gurutz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Sanchez's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When Hugo Ritchie came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Nacho Dream Team FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Ritchie couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Estudiabantes were the better team. Estudiabantes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
