After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Carlos Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tobosy's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Edur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobosy's Cecilio Cordarrol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Chucho in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Tobosy got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Jaizki. Cecilio Cordarrol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Baleren in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Tobosy's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Baleren came free, but Cecilio Cordarrol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Carlos Cordero came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Tobosy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Cordero couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Belmiro in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Edur saved Asoc. Atl. Aguará Guazzú from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Teofilo Belmiro took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Alejo Edur to make any attempt to save it. Aguará Guazzú fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tobosy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
