Gerardo Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Guillen got free with Benjamin Giro in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnulfo Gabirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Marcial Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Arnulfo Gabirel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Henric was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 30 minutes, Victorino Castulo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Football Club Argentino's Marcial Henric tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Victorino Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Henric stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Gabirel's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Arnulfo Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Gabirel made a kick off. Arnulfo Gabirel might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Henric. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnulfo Gabirel ran back to his position shaking his head. If Victorino Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Guillen in the 64th minute of play forced Monte FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Giro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Football Club Argentino's goalkeeper Marcial Henric had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Castulo. Victorino Castulo took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Henric. Marcial Henric dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ariel Quintin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Giro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Guillen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monte FC's Benjamin Giro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Quintin in the 85th minute of play. Gerardo Guillen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Giro having to interfere. A collision led to Monte FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Fausto Vistruario hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Monte FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
