Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Faro FC's Eustaquio Iliana started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Hector Tiniebra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faro FC's Silvestre Belasko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Faro FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, CA Temperley's Osvaldo Unai got a free kick in the 7th minute. Laureano Erramu came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Faro FC's Albino Edur. But to his dismay, Albino Edur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nicolas Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Erramu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Mikeldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Faro FC booed when CA Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Toribio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Erramu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Mikeldi in the 22nd minute of play. Nicolas Menendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Faro FC's goalkeeper Silvestre Belasko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Jaunzuria. A collision led to Faro FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Roberto Calvino hit a great ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Nicolas Menendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faro FC's Silvestre Belasko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute Nicolas Menendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Belasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nicolas Menendo came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the CA Temperley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Menendo couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Menendo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Ciriaco Satordi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faro FC and the CA Temperley players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CA Temperley booed when Faro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Satordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. CA Temperley's Nicolas Menendo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laureano Erramu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eustaquio Iliana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 60 minute of play. After 71 minutes, Nicolas Menendo made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Faro FC's Silvestre Belasko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvestre Belasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Menendo in the 77th minute of the match. Eustaquio Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to CA Temperley getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Marcelino Jerico hit a great ball. Silvestre Belasko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Menendo's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Faro FC's Clodoveo Dimo got a free kick in the 85th minute. A collision led to CA Temperley getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cristian Jaunzuria hit a great ball. Laureano Erramu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Iliana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by CA Temperley's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Siro Theobald was slow to take the kick. During this time Faro FC's players had a chance to rest. After 91 minutes CA Temperley's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Siro Theobald who took care of the corner kick. Siro Theobald made a great header on Faro FC's corner, it was just that CA Temperley's Laureano Erramu managed to reach the ball for a save. When Nicolas Menendo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the CA Temperley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Menendo couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Marcelino Jerico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, CA Temperley's Marcelino Jerico got a free kick in the 98th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the CA Temperley players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
