Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Blas Ascencio started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Maximiliano Bembe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miñones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Bembe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the game, Blas Ascencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miñones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave M.A. Reinicio the free kick. After 6 played minutes Miñones got a freekick which was hit by Blas Ascencio. If Saturnino Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Vedillo had several of the Miñones's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tomás Lugo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tomás Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Gustau, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Tomás Lugo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Vedillo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Saturnino Vedillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miñones's Tomás Lugo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Saturnino Vedillo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. M.A. Reinicio's Saturnino Vedillo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 51st match minute, Miñones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Restu to maneuver through the defense. After 55th play minutes Saturnino Vedillo shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Tomás Lugo and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Vedillo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Lugo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernabe Porfiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Lugo having to interfere. Saturnino Vedillo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Tomás Lugo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for M.A. Reinicio. 64 minutes into the match, Saturnino Vedillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Lugo. Miñones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Vedillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Albano Macerio kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miñones's goalkeeper Tomás Lugo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. M.A. Reinicio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saturnino Vedillo in the 78th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Miñones's goalie and right to Mario Rosio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Miñones's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tomás Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Vedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 88th minute, Saturnino Vedillo made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Lugo. Miñones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Tomás Lugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inocencio Llorenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Saturnino Vedillo made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Lugo. Miñones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0.
