Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) CA Temperley's Nicolas Menendo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Laureano Erramu came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Bella Vista's Bonifacio Olayo. Cristian Jaunzuria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Menendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornelio Leizarraga was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. David Ado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cornelio Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Bella Vista's Cornelio Leizarraga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Club Bella Vista from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute Nicolas Menendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Leizarraga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CA Temperley's Laureano Erramu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Olayo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Nicolas Menendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Bella Vista's Cornelio Leizarraga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Marcelino Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Leizarraga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicolas Menendo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd match minute, Club Bella Vista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Belarmo to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Leizarraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Menendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Jerico might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Leizarraga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelino Jerico ran back to his position shaking his head. CA Temperley's attentive Cristian Jaunzuria managed to snatch the ball when Augusto Belarmo made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Menendo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Leizarraga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Marcelino Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Leizarraga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Menendo's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The referee gave CA Temperley a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Ado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Bella Vista's Cornelio Leizarraga. 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidro Toribio during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
