Miñones's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Rodolfo Conrao scored to the left of an out of position Tomás Lugo, making the score, 1-0. Blas Ascencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rigoberto Librado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blas Ascencio ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Conrao in the 14th minute of play forced Miñones's goalkeeper Tomás Lugo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Rodolfo Conrao fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tomás Lugo, passed just outside the right post. 23 minutes into the game, Miñones's Maximiliano Bembe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Librado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Blas Ascencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Miñones booed when Achiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Luix didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Julio Matia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miñones's Tomás Lugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Olando in the 53rd minute of play. Tomás Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Paskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Evaristo Paskal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tomás Lugo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 64th minute when Evaristo Paskal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rigoberto Librado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Ascencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Evaristo Paskal made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Lugo. Miñones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Achiras made a substitution. Armando Fliz replaced Ceferino Luix. Tomás Lugo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Olando's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. If Filiberto Errapel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Paskal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Lugo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Evaristo Paskal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miñones's Tomás Lugo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Errapel in the 94th minute of play forced Miñones's goalkeeper Tomás Lugo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Achiras fully deserved thier win.
