Blas Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Leizarraga having to interfere. When Maximiliano Bembe, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cornelio Leizarraga was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cayetano Vedillo charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cayetano Vedillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Miñones got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Vedillo. Miñones's Tomás Lugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Olayo in the 24th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Inocencio Mon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Bella Vista and the Miñones players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Miñones got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Vedillo. Cornelio Leizarraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Ascencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Bella Vista's Cornelio Leizarraga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Bella Vista from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Marcelino Ermano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Ascencio couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, Hugo Theodore notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Bella Vista's Cornelio Leizarraga. Cornelio Leizarraga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 98 minutes of play, Miñones's Maximiliano Bembe made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Leizarraga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miñones walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
