In the 35th minute Hermengildo Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Belasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Leizarraga having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Bella Vista's zone, Hugo Mikeldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Leizarraga came out of the goal and Hugo Mikeldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Iliana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Iliana to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Belasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Senin in the 55th minute of the match. Cornelio Leizarraga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Mikeldi in the 81st minute. Silvestre Belasko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Olayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
