Arnulfo Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Bembe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Benjamin Giro made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Victorino Castulo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Lugo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Blas Ascencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monte FC's Victorino Castulo got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Lugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Castulo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Vistruario's late challenge caught a Miñones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Vistruario helped the player get up and apologised. Tomás Lugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Castulo in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Miñones's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Castulo came free, but Tomás Lugo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Monte FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Giro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Bembe. In the last second Benjamin Giro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Blas Ascencio in the 42ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Blas Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Benjamin Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Maximiliano Bembe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th match minute, Miñones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Osoro to maneuver through the defense. Miñones's Blas Ascencio got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blas Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Benjamin Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Bembe in the 67th minute of play forced Monte FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Giro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Bembe in the 69th minute of the match. Maximiliano Bembe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Giro having to interfere. Benjamin Giro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Monte FC's Arnulfo Gabirel got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Victorino Castulo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Arnulfo Gabirel came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Monte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Gabirel couldn't finish the play. After 85 played minutes Monte FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Gabirel. After 87 minutes of play Monte FC's Fausto Vistruario was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Miñones booed when Monte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Vistruario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monte FC's Benjamin Giro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Bembe in the 92nd minute of play. If Maximiliano Bembe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
