Raimundo Merexildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Damaso Cordarryl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Rosario was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alberto Brion. A collision led to Hacha y Tiza getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nicasio Santana hit a great ball. Raimundo Merexildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Pelagius having to interfere. After some careless play in the Hacha y Tiza defense, Raimundo Merexildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Pelagius. The Hacha y Tiza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Pelagius should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Hacha y Tiza's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Cordera came free, but Benito Pelagius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Merexildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Pelagius having to interfere. Joel Tallia hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes, Raimundo Merexildo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Hacha y Tiza's Benito Pelagius tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Tallia charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Tallia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, Hacha y Tiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Tallia to maneuver through the defense. Justino Telesforo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Pelagius. Hacha y Tiza's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matias Astigar during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hacha y Tiza getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Matias Astigar hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aristides Flor to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Aristides Flor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hacha y Tiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Flor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Rosario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Godofredo Chaime fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hurlingham FC's protests and gave Godofredo Chaime a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Hurlingham FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Stephen. Hacha y Tiza's Benito Pelagius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Hacha y Tiza from getting a goal against them. Hacha y Tiza's Benito Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Cordarryl in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Hurlingham FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Baltasar Chan hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Nicasio Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Tallia kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hacha y Tiza's Nicasio Santana got a free kick in the 68th minute. Benito Pelagius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Merexildo's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Benito Pelagius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Merexildo in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hacha y Tiza's Joel Tallia got a free kick in the 77th minute. Aristides Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Aristides Flor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hacha y Tiza's zone, Raimundo Merexildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Pelagius came out of the goal and Raimundo Merexildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hurlingham FC's Raimundo Merexildo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hurlingham FC's Roberto Rosario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Flor in the 93rd minute of play. Hurlingham FC played a much better game than Hacha y Tiza and deserved their victory. The Hacha y Tiza players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
