In the 11th minute, Victorio Mogel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Republic of Ireland's goalkeeper Celso Tancredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Mogel. In the 19th minute, Melquiades Rivas made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Tipi. Toti FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Victorio Mogel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Tanio kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Celso Tancredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Katia in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Rafael Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Toti FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Sebastian Reno hit a great ball.

Rafael Oihan kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jacobo Tipi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Rivas in the 56th minute of play. When Honorio Tello came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Republic of Ireland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Tello couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jacobo Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th play minute Honorio Tello came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacobo Tipi. 1-2. Republic of Ireland's Melquiades Rivas got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Honorio Tello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victorio Mogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Tancredo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jimeno Katia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Katia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Tancredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
