Ermegildo Kismi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Iztal having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Verdinegros San Juan got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Erramu. Cayetano Manuelo struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Marcelo Jerrald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verdinegros San Juan. If Cayetano Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Simon Basualdo made the kick off in the second half. If Cleto Tipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The referee ignored Verdinegros San Juan's protests and gave Gerardo Artizar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Verdinegros San Juan getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gerardo Artizar hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Cleto Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
