The supporters of Deportivo Villa Paez booed when maty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Kismi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Villa Paez's Tiburcio Millrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Tipi in the 25th minute of play. Tiburcio Millrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Kismi in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Ermegildo Kismi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Millrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Deportivo Villa Paez got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Eli. Cleto Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. The referee ignored maty's protests and gave Esteve Iratzeder a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to maty getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Esteve Iratzeder hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermegildo Kismi got free with Tiburcio Millrick in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melquiades Gurutz hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, maty's Valentin George tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tiburcio Millrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Deportivo Villa Paez's Candido Gaur got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, maty's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Oliverio came free, but Marcelo Jerrald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, maty's Robustiano Sasoin got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Arnaldo Oliverio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Villa Paez's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cleto Tipi 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Cleto Tipi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Millrick having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Villa Paez's zone, Cleto Tipi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Millrick came out of the goal and Cleto Tipi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Robustiano Sasoin managed to get in a good position for a shot. maty's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Sasoin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Millrick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Candido Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Candido Gaur came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Deportivo Villa Paez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Gaur couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Ermegildo Kismi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaldo Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 97 minutes, Ermegildo Kismi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. maty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Kismi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. maty walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
