The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Tohias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 6th minute, Laureano Orzaize ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Jerrald was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Orzaize in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Jerrald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Braulio Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Jerrald having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Henry in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Jerrald saved maty from getting behind. Laureano Orzaize received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Marcelo Jerrald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in maty's zone, Braulio Lander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Jerrald came out of the goal and Braulio Lander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 minutes of play, Nunu FC's Antonio Joey made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Jerrald was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Laureano Orzaize put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelo Jerrald. Nunu FC's Laureano Orzaize got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute Honorio Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Jerrald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernan Henry was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Nunu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Tipi came free, but Tobias Tohias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, maty's Marcelo Jerrald got control of the ball when Hernan Henry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Jerrald made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Braulio Lander sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Hernan Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nunu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Henry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Jerrald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Jerrald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the maty defense, Braulio Lander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Jerrald. The maty fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Jerrald should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Lander in the 88th minute of play forced maty's goalkeeper Marcelo Jerrald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. maty's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Laureano Orzaize scored to the left of an out of position Marcelo Jerrald, making the score, 0-8. Tobias Tohias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Kismi, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the match was over Nunu FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than maty throughout the match.
