When Generoso Remicio came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Soto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Remicio couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Kanishka's Nestor Rosalio got a free kick in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Anastasio Jenaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kanishka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soto the free kick. Dario Salvator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Gudesteo having to interfere. Dario Salvator recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Generoso Remicio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Gudesteo having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Soto's goalkeeper Pascual Urdin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Jurgi. Generoso Remicio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kanishka's Leonides Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Salvator in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, one of Soto:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Soto.

Leonides Gudesteo came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Soto's Dario Salvator. But to his dismay, Dario Salvator quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 59 minutes of play, Kanishka's Fabio Venceslas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Urdin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kanishka's Leonides Gudesteo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Kanishka from getting a goal against them. Leonides Gudesteo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Remicio's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Pascual Urdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Venceslas, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Kanishka's Leonides Gudesteo got control of the ball when Dario Salvator tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 72 played minutes Kanishka got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Benitez. Generoso Remicio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Leonides Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
