In the 45th minute, Gabriel Mingo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Salvador Lucian made the kick off in the second half. Salvador Lucian's late challenge caught a TROYA C.A.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Lucian helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alumni Futbol Club's Salvador Lucian got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alumni Futbol Club's goalkeeper Gustavo Frederik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patricio Mantzio struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Cipriano Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alumni Futbol Club. Miguel Guillelmus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Frederik having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
