Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a rather tough play, Atletico Gallardo's Evaristo Lizar got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Elvio Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Fernández AFC's Casimiro Txatxu threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jose Eder, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Federico Ilixo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Gallardo's protests and gave Federico Ilixo a yellow card for diving instead. Federico Ilixo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Anacleto Bermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Rafe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Jose Eder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernández AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Atletico Gallardo to leave the ground with a draw.
