Fausto Abilio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silverio Belarmo's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Timbues FC! 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 19 played minutes, when Gilera:s Jairo Rumaldo calmly waited for Timbues FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. When Melquiades Chepe came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Timbues FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Chepe couldn't finish the play. Rosendo Malvin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Timbues FC's Silverio Belarmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Abilio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Timbues FC booed when Gilera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Martxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Abilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melquiades Chepe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fausto Abilio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Isidro Deunoro scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejo Inguma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
