Omar Cordaro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Salado's Saul Jusepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Rey in the 22nd minute of play. Guaberto Neto hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Omar Cordaro made the kick off in the second half. Florida Team's Leon Kinsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Cordaro in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Lino Osoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Txatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Kinsen having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonas Ricart kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saul Jusepe. That made the score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. If Roberto Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Jusepe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Ricart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Omar Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fausto Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Omar Cordaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Kinsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Leon Kinsen came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Salado's Roberto Txatxu. But to his dismay, Roberto Txatxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Vinicio Venceslas kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Saul Jusepe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Rey in the 89th minute. In the 91st match minute, Salado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Herena to maneuver through the defense. Florida Team's Jonas Ricart managed to work through Salado's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jonas Ricart dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Florida Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
