The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 6th minute, Bernabe Sansone made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Charro. Pupuna FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Oscar Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernabe Sansone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alberto Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pupuna FC's Emiliano Veronica got a free kick in the 14th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 16th minute, when Cucu FC's Dante Bertran after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Alberto Charro in Pupuna FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Bernabe Sansone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alberto Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Charro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes of play, Cucu FC's Oscar Quentin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Charro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, Emilio Ramirez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Musko. Cucu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Ramirez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Oscar Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Charro having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Pupuna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Sansone came free, but Alberto Charro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Sansone in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Charro saved Pupuna FC from getting behind. Oscar Quentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alberto Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cucu FC's Bernabe Sansone got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliberto Brun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Oscar Quentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Charro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernabe Sansone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Charro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Quentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Charro having to interfere. Bernabe Sansone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 minutes, Adolfo Galo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pupuna FC and the Cucu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pupuna FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Adolfo Galo hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes, Cucu FC's Dante Bertran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alberto Charro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cucu FC reached it. Oscar Quentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliberto Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Joaquin Musko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Quentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Oscar Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cucu FC fully deserved thier win.
