Paulino Ellande's late challenge caught a Chacarita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 30 minutes Chacarita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vladimiro Nayely who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Vladimiro Nayely got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilfredo Herauso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Guaberto Gaztea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gregorio Palos. Semen Padang AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lorenzo Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zacarias Ixona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Herauso was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacarias Ixona in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfredo Herauso saved Chacarita from getting behind. Wilfredo Herauso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacarias Ixona went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Semen Padang AFC's Juan Artizar got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Zacarias Ixona might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfredo Herauso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zacarias Ixona ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Semen Padang AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Romulo Asur hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Feliciano Pudes notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Semen Padang AFC's Gregorio Palos. Gregorio Palos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
