Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roman Ado started the match with the kick off. Higinio Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Victoriano Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Semen Padang AFC's Zacarias Ixona got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moreira's goalkeeper Victoriano Mero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Zacarias Ixona sped through Moreira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victoriano Mero. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacarias Ixona in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Mero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Moreira's Maximo Estevon got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Henry in the 19th minute of play forced Moreira's goalkeeper Victoriano Mero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Moreira booed when Semen Padang AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Ellande didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Moreira's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Ixona came free, but Victoriano Mero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Ceferino Kimetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match, Roman Ado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gregorio Palos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Zacarias Ixona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Semen Padang AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Ixona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Mero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victoriano Mero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias Ixona's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Paulino Ellande hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Bonifacio Matxin came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Moreira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Matxin couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Semen Padang AFC booed when Moreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes, Semen Padang AFC's Vladimiro Nayely shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victoriano Mero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Semen Padang AFC reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacarias Ixona to make the kick off. Juan Artizar took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Mero. Victoriano Mero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Henry in the 59th minute of play forced Moreira's goalkeeper Victoriano Mero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Semen Padang AFC's Zacarias Ixona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Mero. That made the score 0-3 after 62 minutes of play. If Zacarias Ixona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Kimetz struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Victoriano Mero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Semen Padang AFC. The crowd rose to their feet as Higinio Henry kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victoriano Mero. That made the score 0-4 in the 72 minute of play. Zacarias Ixona hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Moreira's Urbano Bazil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregorio Palos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Ceferino Kimetz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Mero having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Moreira's zone, Higinio Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Mero came out of the goal and Higinio Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Moreira fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Semen Padang AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
