The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Firestarter FC. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Atlanta United. Baltasar Lesardo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ezequiel Gumaro. 2-3. In the 97th minute, Cesar Paublo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlanta United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
