In the 43rd of the match, Silvio Sindo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Esteban Rameriz got in the way and made a wonderful save. Esteban Rameriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Munio, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejandro Munio to strike the kick off in the second half. If Isidoro Efren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Córdoba Demons's zone, Isidoro Efren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Bertol came out of the goal and Isidoro Efren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute Alejandro Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Maximiliano Urki fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Córdoba Demons's protests and gave Maximiliano Urki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Maximiliano Urki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Perpinya during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 69 minutes into the game, Rolando Gombal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 95th match minute, Fender Sarsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Inko to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
