When Tadeo Calvet fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cienaguilla's protests and gave Tadeo Calvet a yellow card for diving instead. Timoteo Fernendo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Gonsalve went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Cienaguilla getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Anibal Ponciano hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Leandro Gonsalve ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timoteo Fernendo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guaberto Haritzeder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lavalia FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
