The coaching staff of Surisaltana FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alberto Pereyra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Lavalia FC's Felipe Ereinotz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Miguel Quinteros. In the 28th minute Guaberto Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Surisaltana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Txilar to maneuver through the defense. Lavalia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Haritzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Matteo's late challenge caught a Lavalia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Matteo helped the player get up and apologised. Jacinto Matteo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Felipe Ereinotz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

In the 54th minute, Jacinto Matteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Musko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Gonsalve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Quinteros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavalia FC's goalkeeper Ceferino Jaen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Lavalia FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Genaro Pello hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match, Benito Musko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ceferino Jaen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Lavalia FC's Ceferino Jaen got control of the ball when Benito Musko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leandro Gonsalve struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Lavalia FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
