Bragado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Jobo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bragado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa del Parque Necochea the free kick. After 45 played minutes Bragado got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Jobo.

The audience was convinced that Guido Napier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Cutberto was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Marciano Fernado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Efrain Patrido made a huge save. Arnoldo Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Cutberto having to interfere. Bragado's Carlos Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Napier in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bragado's zone, Arnoldo Blasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Cutberto came out of the goal and Arnoldo Blasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Otsando charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Otsando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bragado were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Villa del Parque Necochea's much stronger midfield.
