In the 5th minute, Luisito Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, MASTERS FC's Melchor Bilintx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Beltran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mercedes AFC's goalkeeper Pedro Beltran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Mercedes AFC booed when MASTERS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Argoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Beltran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes, Luisito Sarracino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MASTERS FC and the Mercedes AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes MASTERS FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Sarracino. In the 26th minute, Augusto Ipar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 29 minutes into the match, Mercedes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Bilintx came free, but Pedro Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Saul Erramu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pedro Beltran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Beltran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melchor Bilintx's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Fidel Pirmin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eriberto Nalo firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, MASTERS FC's Eriberto Nalo got control of the ball when Fidel Pirmin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Mercedes AFC's Fidel Pirmin in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Erramu in the 63rd minute of play forced Mercedes AFC's goalkeeper Pedro Beltran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes of play MASTERS FC's Luisito Sarracino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, MASTERS FC's Luisito Sarracino got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Fidel Pirmin came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Mercedes AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Pirmin couldn't finish the play. Mercedes AFC's Fidel Pirmin got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melchor Bilintx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Pedro Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Pirmin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eriberto Nalo having to make a save. Eriberto Nalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Ipar in the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in MASTERS FC's zone, Silverio Karmel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Nalo came out of the goal and Silverio Karmel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MASTERS FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
