The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serafin Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Kepa having to interfere. Gaudencio Roland succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Noqueoj FC's Gaudencio Roland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elvio Kepa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ladislao Kelemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Benigno Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmen FC's Carlos Blai got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match, Carlos Blai got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benigno Pelayo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Carmen FC booed when Noqueoj FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Jusepe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carmen FC's zone, Gaudencio Roland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Kepa came out of the goal and Gaudencio Roland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Serafin Tab came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Noqueoj FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Tab couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Kelemen made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Noqueoj FC's zone, Carlos Blai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Pelayo came out of the goal and Carlos Blai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Roland in the 54th minute of play forced Carmen FC's goalkeeper Elvio Kepa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes Carmen FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joaquin Mitxel who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Gaudencio Roland managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Noqueoj FC's Gaudencio Roland in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carmen FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ladislao Kelemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benigno Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Blai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Serafino Taurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noqueoj FC's Serafin Tab got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Noqueoj FC's zone, Ladislao Soter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Pelayo came out of the goal and Ladislao Soter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Carmen FC's Elvio Kepa got control of the ball when Serafin Tab tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Carlos Blai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Blai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Pelayo having to interfere. Serafin Tab struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Elvio Kepa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noqueoj FC. The Carmen FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Noqueoj FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Noqueoj FC.
