The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Carlos Cordario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Benigno Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Columbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Tab in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Mateo Iago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benigno Pelayo skillfully saved the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Ballester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Roland came free, but Honorio Columbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Columbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Tab, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Hermengildo Claus hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Benigno Pelayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Mundo in the 91st minute. Hermengildo Claus kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ballester FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
