The referee gave Panambí FC a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hernan Cisco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carmen FC's Elvio Kepa. 0-1. Panambí FC's Aristides Guillem got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Carmen FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ulises Celino hit a great ball. Cristobal Domenec hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Carmen FC's Elvio Kepa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Cambranes in the 25th minute of play. Americo Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Kepa having to interfere. Carlos Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Soter's late challenge caught a Panambí FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Soter helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Carmen FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ladislao Soter hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Panambí FC's Hernan Cisco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Elvio Kepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Dayam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Americo Cambranes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvio Kepa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Ulises Celino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Carlos Blai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Gasteiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Carlos Blai notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Panambí FC's Venancio Gasteiz. Venancio Gasteiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th match minute, Carmen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Cordeara to maneuver through the defense. If Carlos Blai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panambí FC's Venancio Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Kelemen in the 80th minute of play. Carmen FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Urbano Eleder in the 82nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Urbano Eleder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Venancio Gasteiz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maximino Dayam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Kepa having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Carmen FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Cordeara. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Guillem during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Panambí FC's Aristides Guillem got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Americo Cambranes came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Panambí FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Cambranes couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Carmen FC booed when Panambí FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Dayam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panambí FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
