After a defensive mix-up in Ferreras de Abajo's zone, Carlos Blai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Hug came out of the goal and Carlos Blai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvio Kepa made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Celedonio Umea sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Roderigo during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matias Hug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Blai, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prudencio Iban to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Prudencio Iban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferreras de Abajo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladislao Kelemen during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Carmen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Kelemen to maneuver through the defense.
