In the 5th minute, Arnoldo Haritzeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Triple 8 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Cordarell to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes Triple 8 FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Urki. If Fabian Jayvier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CA San Lorenzo de Almagro's Victor Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save CA San Lorenzo de Almagro from getting a goal against them. A collision led to CA San Lorenzo de Almagro getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Raimundo Louis hit a great ball. Fabian Jayvier in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victor Chayo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Fabian Jayvier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Angelo Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Jerardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Burni in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Rafael Harriet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Jerardo. Triple 8 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Harriet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fabian Jerardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Triple 8 FC's Angelo Cordarell got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Jayvier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Victor Chayo made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Fabian Jayvier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Triple 8 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Urki to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Rafael Harriet hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Fabian Jayvier scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Chayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabian Jayvier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CA San Lorenzo de Almagro's zone, Jonas Urki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Chayo came out of the goal and Jonas Urki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Jayvier took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Chayo. Victor Chayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. CA San Lorenzo de Almagro's Victor Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Galeno in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, CA San Lorenzo de Almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Ubarna to maneuver through the defense. Triple 8 FC's Amancio Garoa got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Cordarell struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Victor Chayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triple 8 FC. After having played for 74 minutes, Fabian Jayvier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Triple 8 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Jayvier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Viviano in the 76th minute of play. Leon Oxarra's late challenge caught a Triple 8 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Oxarra helped the player get up and apologised. Raimundo Louis kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Fabian Jayvier made a precise shot to the right of Victor Chayo. CA San Lorenzo de Almagro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Jayvier in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Chayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atilano Galeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Chayo having to interfere. If Atilano Galeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Triple 8 FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
