Angel Romelio hit a great ball. If Higinio Lando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Angel Romelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nereo Montay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaspar Salvidor came out and tried to block the shot, but Nereo Montay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermengildo Urbez was the one to do the kick off. When Nereo Montay came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Santamarina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Montay couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute Isidoro Hitzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nereo Montay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaspar Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Isadore in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Angel Romelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Lando kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Isidoro Hitzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gaspar Salvidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Yaros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Olentzaro to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Lorien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Flores having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Nereo Montay notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Yaros's Gaspar Salvidor. Gaspar Salvidor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isidoro Hitzeder took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaspar Salvidor. Gaspar Salvidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Nereo Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santamarina's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Montay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Salvidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Nereo Montay notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Yaros's Gaspar Salvidor. Gaspar Salvidor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Santamarina fully deserved thier win.
